New NextGear Capital Sign-in Experience

NextGear Capital is joining Bridge ID as a part of a strategic plan to adhere to the industry’s best practice of using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and to improve how Cox Automotive solutions work together.

Why are the web address and sign-in screen changing? 

They are changing to support the upcoming transition to a Single Sign-On (SSO) experience called Bridge ID, which will enhance your account’s security through MFA and simplify the login process. 

What is Bridge ID? 

Bridge ID is a SSO gateway available for users of Cox Automotive digital solutions, including Autotrader, Dealertrack F&I, DMS, Dealer.com, Homenet, NextGear Capital, VinSolutions, vAuto and Xtime, allowing access to multiple systems with a single ID and password while safeguarding your account through the use of MFA. As new solutions become available, you will be able to link and access each of them using the same login credentials. 

Why Bridge ID? 

Bridge ID enhances cyber security by adding multi-factor authentication and streamlines the login process, giving you quicker and easier access to your multiple accounts. It also eliminates the need to change your password every 90 days. You can update your credentials as often as you choose!

Will my username or password change?

You will use your current NextGear Capital credentials to login at this phase and for the initial setup of your NextGear Capital account when it becomes available on Bridge ID. Upon completion of the initial setup process, you will be prompted to create login credentials for your Bridge ID account. You will use those Bridge ID credentials going forward.

Will my experience after I sign in change at all?

Everything will work the same way it does today with the addition of the Bridge Bar at the top of the screen that enables SSO management across Cox Automotive solutions.

Will my bookmark to sign-in to NextGear Capital still work?

Yes. Bookmarks for any old sign-in pages will be redirected to the new web address. To streamline your experience, we recommend updating your Bookmark to the new Bridge sign-in page.
