David Horan | VP of Finance
David Horan serves as VP of Finance for NextGear Capital. He is responsible for executing the company’s financial and strategic planning.
Horan worked as Corporate Controller for JD Byrider Systems, the largest franchiser of auto sales/finance dealerships in the U.S. He also served as Corporate Controller for Auction Broadcasting Company, the third-largest auto auction chain in the nation. In 2005, Horan joined Dealer Services Corporation as Corporate Controller and Assistant Treasurer, designing and managing the accounting and treasury functions for DSC.
Horan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and is an active member of the Indiana CPA Society, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants.
Lisa Mackie | VP of Sales
As NextGear Capital’s VP of Sales, Lisa is responsible for strategic leadership, vision, and execution of NextGear Capital sales efforts.
With more than 20 years of auto finance and commercial sales leadership experience, she most recently served as Director, Commercial Dealer Services at Capital One where she was responsible for driving floor plan sales growth across multiple states. Past roles held include, Function Head Director of Commercial Acquisitions for Hyundai Capital and Vice President/Division Manager for Chase Dealer Commercial Services. A graduate of University of North Carolina at Fayetteville, Lisa began her career in the Ford Motor Credit Manager Training Program before going on to serve in multiple leadership positions in sales, retail finance, and wholesale audit.
John Wick | SVP of Lending
John Wick serves as the SVP of Lending and for NextGear Capital.
In the role of Lending, he leads the company’s credit, risk and recovery operations that covers all facets from customer induction to dissolution.
John is one of the founding members of Dealer Services Corporation, joining the company in 2005 as General Counsel. Prior to joining the company, he was a partner in the Indianapolis law firm Lewis, Wick & Koski, where his primary areas of practice included litigation, debtor and creditor relations and business law.
John is a graduate of Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. He also holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis.
Eb Ikonne | AVP of Engineering
Eb Ikonne Serves as AVP of Engineering for NextGear Capital. He is responsible for leading and providing direction to multiple software, infrastructure, and production engineering teams enabling NextGear Capital.
Before partnering with NextGear Capital and Cox Automotive, Eb started ThreeThirtyOne Consulting. The firm helps leaders create high-performance organizations through leadership consulting. Previous to starting his own business Ikonne served as CTO and Technical advisor for MYidealDOCTOR, setting the technological direction as the organization developed the mobile health platform. Ikonne obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Masters of Science in Software Engineering from Andrew’s University
Jeff Widholm | AVP of Product Management
Jeff Widholm serves as the AVP of Product Management for NextGear Capital. He leads teams that develop new products to enhance the client experience while improving in-house efficiencies.
With 16 years of experience in independent dealer finance, Jeff understands the needs of independent dealers. Prior to joining NextGear, Jeff was the head of floor plan operations for one of the largest providers of floor plannning to independent dealers in the U.S. and Canada. In addition, he led the turnaround of a Texas-based floor plan company. Other roles include executive leadership of one of the largest franchise dealerships in Indiana; the CFO of an independent dealership; and a commercial lender to Indiana based businesses.
Jeff obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and his Master of Business Administration from Indiana University.
